BEFORE YOUR FIRST CLASS

A little more
to know.

Every dancer starts with a question.

Ask us anything

Does my child need dance experience?

No. We welcome beginners and place dancers by age and experience. Level 1 is generally a starting point for children ages 3 to 5. Dancers with previous training may be evaluated by a teacher to find the right fit.

Can we try a class before committing?

Request a trial using the usual registration process and include your request in the signup notes. The teacher will email you with an available date. Trial spaces are limited and must be confirmed before you attend.

What styles will my dancer learn?

Except for dedicated ballet classes, our dance classes combine technique training, including ballet basics, with performance work. Styles vary by class and level and include Chinese and other folk dances, jazz, hip-hop, flamenco, lyrical, and modern dance.

Will my child have a chance to perform?

We encourage dancers to take part in our annual recital. If a class forms too close to a performance to prepare its routine and costumes, the teacher will help the class work toward a later performance. Competition teams require an audition.

Where can I find class times and tuition?

Contact [email protected] or call (408) 219-3562 for current availability, schedules, and tuition. Existing families can see their classes and available class requests in the family portal.
